# Battle cards

> Canonical answers the copilot delivers the same way every time.

A battle card is a question paired with the answer you want given: a competitor comparison, a pricing objection, a security question. When a card matches what a prospect asks, it takes priority over document retrieval, so the answer comes out the way you wrote it.

Use a card when the answer is a sales decision. Use a [document](/knowledge-base/documents) when the answer lives in content that changes.

## Create cards

From **Knowledge → Battle Cards**:

* **Write one directly.** Add the question and the answer you want delivered.
* **Create with AI.** Describe what you need and the copilot drafts cards, researching the web when it helps. Drafts land in [Recommended](/battle-cards/recommended-cards) for review; nothing goes live until you approve it.

Cards also come to you: Caspr drafts them from your calls and at signup, and open [knowledge gaps](/battle-cards/knowledge-gaps) answered in Slack or Teams are saved as cards.

<Note>
  Approved cards are shared across your workspace, so every rep gives the same answer.
