If your material already lives in [Google Drive](/connectors/google-drive), [Notion](/connectors/notion), [Outline](/connectors/outline), or another supported source, connect it from **Settings** instead of uploading by hand. The connector indexes it and keeps the knowledge base in sync as the source changes. Point a connector at the folders that hold clean sales material rather than a whole drive: you control exactly what the copilot can quote, and indexing stays fast. A connected source is tied to the account of the person who connects it. At creation you choose whether its content is searchable by your whole team or only by you - team-shared is the right default for shared sales material. Team-critical answers can also be captured as [battle cards](/battle-cards/overview) or uploaded directly as [documents](/knowledge-base/documents). Keep material in Claude Projects? [Import it from Claude's data export](/connectors/claude-projects) - a one-time import rather than a live sync. Start with uploads, add connectors once you want content to stay current on its own.
