# Connectors

> Keep the knowledge base in sync with where content already lives.

If your material already lives in Google Drive, Notion, Confluence, SharePoint, or Slack, connect the source from **Settings** instead of uploading by hand. The connector indexes it and keeps the knowledge base in sync as the source changes.

Point a connector at the folders that hold clean sales material rather than a whole drive: you control exactly what the copilot can quote, and indexing stays fast.

A connected source is tied to the account of the person who connects it, and the content it indexes is used on that person's calls. For material the whole team should answer from, upload it as a [document](/knowledge-base/documents) or capture it as a [battle card](/battle-cards/overview).
