# Knowledge base

> The content the copilot answers from.

Everything the copilot says on a call comes from your knowledge base: uploaded [documents](/knowledge-base/documents), [connected sources](/knowledge-base/connectors), and [battle cards](/battle-cards/overview). Answer quality tracks content quality more than any setting does.

## What to add

| Worth adding | Better left out |
| ---------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| The current pricing and packaging sheet | Old versions and superseded decks |
| Competitor one-pagers | Internal strategy docs reps should not quote |
| Objection handling and FAQ docs | Long narrative decks with no answers in them |
| A short security and compliance overview | Anything you would not want repeated to a prospect |

Two habits keep answers sharp:

* **One source of truth per topic.** Competing pricing docs produce hedged answers. Keep the canonical one, retire the rest.
* **Current over complete.** An outdated price is worse than no price, because it is delivered with confidence.

## Grow it from real calls

You do not need to anticipate every question. After each call, unanswered questions surface as [knowledge gaps](/battle-cards/knowledge-gaps); closing the recurring ones adds exactly the content prospects ask for.

<Note>
  The knowledge base is shared across your workspace and visible only to your company.
