# Adherence

> How playbook coverage is scored, and where to see it.

Adherence is how closely calls follow the playbook they ran. It is measured against the coverage criteria you wrote, so the numbers are only as good as the [playbook behind them](/playbooks/writing-good-playbooks).

## Where to see it

| **The overlay, live**    | Items check off as the rep covers them, so what is still open is visible mid-call.                  |
| **The session**          | [Playbook coverage](/sessions/playbook-coverage) for that call, item by item.                       |
| **Analytics, Team view** | Team-wide adherence, per-rep adherence, and the trend over time. See [analytics](/admin/analytics). |

## Acting on it

Low adherence on one call is a conversation about that call. The same items skipped across many calls means either the calls need coaching or the item does not belong in the playbook. Cut or rewrite items that never earn coverage; the framework should describe how your best calls actually run.
