# The AI editor

> Reshape a playbook by describing the change.

Open any playbook and describe the change you want in plain language: "tighten discovery to three items," "add a stage for security review," "rewrite the criteria so they are observable." The editor proposes an updated playbook for you to review before anything is applied.

* **Iterate in the thread.** Follow up until the proposal is right; nothing changes until you apply it.
* **Attach material.** Give it a sales methodology doc or a call guide and it works from that instead of a blank page.
* **Stay in control.** If you hand-edit the playbook after a proposal, the editor flags it rather than overwriting your work.

The AI editor is where "adapt MEDDPICC to how we actually sell" takes minutes instead of an afternoon. Editing playbooks is admin-only, like the rest of [playbook management](/playbooks/overview).
