Open the desktop app and sign in. On first launch, grant microphone and system-audio access when prompted so the copilot can follow both sides of a call.Set up your workspace
Your dashboard home shows a Finish setting up checklist with these four cards. They check off automatically as each one is done, and this is the same order to do them in:1
Review your battle cards
If you kept web research on during signup, Caspr has already researched your company and drafted a starter set of battle cards, waiting under Knowledge → Battle Cards → Recommended. Approve the ones you want, edit the close-but-not-right ones, dismiss the rest. Or write your first card directly: a question and the answer you want delivered.
2
Upload your knowledge base
In Knowledge → Documents, upload two or three current files: a pricing sheet, a competitor one-pager, an objection or FAQ doc. The copilot answers from what you give it, and a few clean documents beat a large stale archive. What to add covers what belongs.
3
Create a product
In Products, tell the copilot what you sell. Write it yourself, or use Generate with AI, which drafts products from the cards and documents you just added. The default product attaches to every call automatically. See products.
Run your first call
Start your meeting as usual and open the copilot. Press Cmd+Shift+Enter at any point, from any app, to ask a question; the answer comes from your knowledge base with the source attached. The copilot can also surface answers on its own; see detection modes.Review the call
When the call ends, open it under Sessions: notes with action items, a classification of every prospect question, and any knowledge gaps. Close a gap by adding the missing answer, and the next rep who hears that question gets it live.Next
