Each product carries a checklist of triggers: the question types the copilot may answer without being asked. Your detection mode decides whether the copilot speaks up on its own; the triggers decide about what. Asking with Cmd+Shift+Enter always works, regardless of either. Turn off any trigger you do not want to be interrupted about; those questions can still be asked manually.

A product can also carry a line or two of free-text guidance to fine-tune firing, such as “only fire on enterprise-tier pricing” or “never bring up the legacy on-prem product.”
