Detection and response modes

Switch either mode at any time from the ⋯ menu on the answer panel.

Detection

Detection controls whether the copilot surfaces answers without being asked. Asking with Cmd+Shift+Enter works in every mode.

Mode	What happens
Manual	The copilot stays quiet until you ask. New users start here.
Suggest	Detected questions appear as an offer you can open.
Auto	Detected questions get an answer immediately.

Response controls how answers read.
